Amanda: I am a reformed over-achiever turned stay-at-home mom. Long story short, I met my husband while I was in college prepping for medical school. He was a tall, dark, and handsome naval officer and swept me off my feet just like Richard Gere in An Officer and a Gentleman. Six years, two and a half kids, and lots of moves later, we've landed temporarily in San Diego, CA. I love my life, my husband, and our children, but that doesn't mean it's not a crazy ride sometimes!
